The Mysterious Reality-Bending Non-Euclidian Party Vase of Mystery is a LEGENDARY artifact capable of warping the area around it to its very whims. People fear the vase, for they do NOT understand its machinations, and do NOT understand that it just wants to start a party. Unfortunately for the vase, it cannot clearly articulate this information, for it does not have a mouth, or arms, or legs... or any appendages for that matter. Instead, it just looks around, bored, sad that there isn't a party going on, until it was bought as a decoration for a certain cafe. This cafe, deemed suitable by the vase, became non-euclidean in a party-starting-related event, at which case he decided to bring a friend in from another dimension, a plank of wood with a crude face drawn onto it.

AND THUS, we come to the carpet, a machination created by the Mysterious Reality-Bending Non-Euclidian Party Vase of Mystery to satiate its own desire to create a party and... mystery. A mysterious mystery, that only the Mysterious Reality-Bending Non-Euclidian Party Vase of Mystery knows the answer to. Unless you read this whole description, in which case kudos to you!
