Mead is an alcoholic beverate brewed from honey (since the name mead, from Latin mellis, "honey") and classically associated by the Norse people, although it has been known by the Indians and Chinese since a long time. This drink's popularity stems from the fact that it is of sweet taste and it could be made in places where grape for wines could not be grown.
