A tile to commemorate the second birthday of the 200th Quilt OC Spectacular, I thought I would reprise a tile I still think of as one of my gentlest pieces, The Town Where the Sleeping Master Rests. (https://fy.do/tile/1977)

In the almost five years since the original tile was posted, we can see that the town has grown somewhat into a small city (though the original buildings still exist), and a toothpaste factory has risen with a colossal glass placed nearby for the times when the Master awakens to keep his smile its whitest.

The local quest economy is still intact, you know? Only now, instead of toothpaste, most missions are for mouthwash and floss. The t-shirts are still the same price!

I wonder what adventures have passed in those intervening months? The Master knows only a few of them himself!

And so, Happy Birthday to our 200th fydoTiles quilt!

It has been a long road but after so long, we find ourselves in the home stretch! Though we discover many fantastic places in our journeys together, I find there is a unique joy whenever we return to climes from the nearly ten thousand tiles turned in so far!

May many years, quilts, and adventures follow the ones behind us! (Although I would be fine if we could wrap up DUVET in style, too~ <w< <3 )

And you know, there are some people who would be put off by the amount of time it has taken to get this far on this quilt, but I would say to them that this is Just Duvet Things Go~ 💖
