Act Five-- by far the longest passage of Lumpquest IV-- is the Path to Xanfydu's Tower. Fully thirty-five of the game's seventy-five hours are dedicated to the Act's Lost in Quiltspace! Two!! and Tale of Two Kitties arcs, and that is without even counting DLC and optional quests.

Everything from the pacing of Act Five's culmination with the Mt. Gamby Battle at Observatory Forty, to the victory theme of that battle blending with a reprise of the Disc Two "Change MD" theme, to the background image of devastated Gamby City seamlessly fading into the Disc Three opening montage makes Xanfydu one of the most iconic moments in interactive television mondoDisc™ gaming history.

Cameos by other characters from other MD games (including Guardian Slime from Stripe Cave's Deep! and Shroomba from Mish-Mash Mushroom Dash) as well as previous Lumpquest titles (The Sleeping Master, Alsem-Nagil, and Meow? (Industrial Meow V) among many more!) all appear along the winding road laid out between Mr. Tiles and Xanfydu herself, who has locked herself out of the Skyward Scaffold!
