I am super pleased with how this turned out, not because I feel like I met the goal of 'CUTE GIRL' adequately but also because I experimented with a bunch of different techniques and all of them came out all right~ <3 The palette was created for this quilt and although it has a few of what some might uncharitably and unimaginatively call "flaws," I found that they all have their uses, and that my fellow artists will always find a way to create further uses I could not have imagined in 650,000 years. So happy was I with the water in fact, that I put it in the sky as well! The suit was actually green to start, but I goofed around a bit with Hue/Saturation shifting after I was "done" and ended up finding this pink version that I enjoyed even more and ended up going with, too!
Anyway please enjoy this blonde twenty-something with her suit unzipped and a host of adorable chibi faerie-animal pals~
