As far as bosses go in any game, conceptually this guy is very simple. However, fighting him while he drops his spores can be difficult. Also watch out for mushroom enemies from earlier spawning from the spores. When the boss is almost finished, in a last ditch attempt, he will spew larger fire-like spores, you can predict when by his face wincing. Beating him grants you a floatier jump which you can grab the chest above. - Checked in
