If there is a parallel that can be made between mathematics and psychedelic art, few things would beat Mandelbrot set. A graph devised by the eponymous mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot, it consists of a graph plotted by the feeding of a math equation of the type Fc(z)=z²+c where the value remains absolute and not tending to infinite. The black areas represent areas of stability while outside areas represent areas of instability. The heart-shaped part is called the cardioid of the function and will increase in lobes as the exponent value in z increases, resulting in a Multibrot set.
