Rockosaurus is a genus of rockosaurian rockopod dinosaur. The species rockosaurus rex (rex meaning "king" in Latin), often called R. rex or colloquially R-Rex, is one of the most well-represented of the large rockopods. rockosaurus lived throughout what is now North America and The midlands in England, mostly around Memphis, Tennessee, California, Seattle and the midlands in the UK. rockosaurus had a much wider range than other rockosaurids. Fossils are found in a variety of rock formations dating to the rockatrichtian age of the upper rockaceous period, 68 to 66 million years ago. It was the last known member of the rockosaurids, and among the last non-avian rockosaurs to exist before the rockaceous–rockogene extinction event. Scientists have linked the discovery of a new Rockosaurus with a new genre of rock music, though this effect is not fully understood but tbh I'm not bothered to write any more
