The issue with drawing the ship was making it stand out from the background. Originally I had the darkest part of the ship as purple, but it barley looked like the "SSV Normandy SR1" without the darker color. So I put an outline on it so I could use the darker color. Logic it as an 'energy shield' and it works...I hope. I wanted the Normandy to be as big as possible to get the details right but a few pixel still got chopped off by the canvas limit. Once i had the ship finished, I moved it to the top of my canvas and saw i still had half of the canvas left to fill in. So I drew a tiny Mass Relay and Reaper. Again the Reapers are also dark in color so I had to put an outline on it as well. Fits with the game logic of Mass Effect I guess. Paragon Blue for good, Renegade Red for evil. Also Tali'Zorah is best space waifu!
