I didn't know what to do with slime other than to make a slime-hole. Side note, the Mudslingers from Dragon Quest VI can go die. First of all, they're unnecessarily creepy. Have you seen them? They stare at you with a completely unnatural expression of combined fear and bloodlust. It's creepy and I hate it. I also hate the fact that they have the spell whack, it makes combat with them annoying and costly. And for some reason, whenever I'm in an area where they spawn, I always get an exceeding amount of them. Their continued existence is a curse upon this world.
