So here we are, at the penultimate tile of this 200th fydoTiles quilt! This one celebrates the starters from my first quilt, No.24, Tranquil Fantasy, only a few months after I had started quilting back in 2018. The six-tile combo starter I did was one of my proudest works at the time and it still makes me smile~ The quilt was also one of my first forays into palette composition, and it seems a lot of my choices are ones I still make today...

Tranquil Fantasy took exactly six months to complete, and I remember thinking it would be a long time before another quilt took as long to complete. And I was right: it would not be until 2022 for that record to be broken by a nine-month quilt, and then again by SLAPDASH 108, which took 362 days!

That said, "slow" seldom means "bad," and DUVET proves it! In the 991 days and 31 quilts to begin and conclude since it launched, contributors new and old have turned out to celebrate old tiles, quilts, and fydoTiles moments together, as well as create new characters and scenarios moving forwards, and all in the quality and novelty that has made these quilts so exciting!

So here we are, 199 tiles in of 200!

The results these past two and three-quarter years have been phenomenal and I cannot wait to see what the final five will turn out to be~
