So at some point a couple of years after I really got started at pixel art, I somehow ended up doodling a lot of cat girls. I do not really know why or what inspired it, but I decided to try drawing a new one each day, everyday, for a month, and see how it went. I did not get a new one done every day, but I also did not stop at the end of the month, and before long I ended up with ten then twenty and before I knew it I was "the catgirl pixel artist," or at least one "the catgirl pixel artist" as there are a few of us.

"But what does that have to do with Pride?" I hear you ask.

Well, I guess it is like this: there are a lot of different things to express about oneself, and a lot of different ways to express each thing you want to throw out into the world. Catgirls, of course, are not my sole means of expression. I like writing these descriptions, for instance, and I also curse a lot (like, you know, a lot). Other things, too! But I find that maybe one of the ways I do the most of it, perhaps because I draw a lot of them to start with and then elements of myself leak out into them, is these weird goofy furry OCs.

And so, here is another one; Mahrukh, one of the many, many, many identity-divergent toons I have littered this website with, among many others.
